What is it?
A Dog's Dream Daycare opens at 7 a.m. Dogs may check-in at anytime. Advance reservations are appreciated.
At check-in, the dog's belongings (leashes, treats, etc.) are placed in their own cubby. The morning is spent in play with other dogs and staff members. There is plenty of space for playing with toys and running, both inside and outside. On hot days, dogs can cool off in wading pools in the fenced yard.
Dogs that stay for a full day nap from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Music and aromatherapy soothe dogs during this time. Naps for daycare dogs are important to prevent them from becoming overtired and/or sick. Most dogs lay down to rest on their own during this time period. Some dogs need to be crated to encourage them to rest.
Afternoon activities include more playing, but also more one-on-one time with staff members who cuddle, massage and brush attendees.
Dogs may be picked up anytime during the day, but the general pick-up time is between 5 and 6 p.m.
- Proof of vaccination for rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella
